Hailey's lost teeth!!

This summer Hailey surprised us and lost not one but two teeth within a month. Kinda early I'm thinking! Not sure what that means??

Fishing with Dad..

Ever since I have known Troy he has always talked about taking his kids fishing and how fun it would be. He has always wanted to instill a love of hunting and fishing in his kids. So far Mission Accomplished..they love to go fishing with their Dad and I have the pictures to prove it.....

Gotta love the girls hair..you can tell Mom wasn't there. This is the trip Hailey came home with crusty hair and told me she got fish blood in it. Yuck! See the girls holding hands...they really are best friends, and I love it!

Hailey and Hannah are really into horses lately, they watch the horse movie Spirit over and over everyday. So we took them to a friends house to ride their pony..the loved it! They make cute cowgirls!

Really SEVEN hours??!!!

Should it really take an 11 year old seven hours to clean his room?? Well it did Wyatt! The amazing thing is there was not one single ....."Do I have to?" "Can I be done?" really, no complaining at all, but it did take him forever..he started at 11:00 this morning and finally finished at 6:00 this evening just in time for dinner. During dinner I asked him if it was weird that he just came out of his room and had to head back there for bed in 3 hours. He just grinned and shrugged his shoulders.

Birthday Present...

This is the bread I made with my own wheat that I ground with my birthday present......a wheat grinder. I went over to my cousins to check out her amazing bread making abilities, and when I returned home I told Troy that I would like a wheat grinder. Troy is really great with giving gifts and pays attention to what I say more than I realize. Thanks to all who helped him figure out how to surprise me with it!

Migraine day......

Anyone who know me well enough, knows that I have hormone issues and occasionally suffer from migraines. Thanks to a patient doctor and modern medicine those day are now few and far between but yesterday my friend Migraine came to visit. On days like yesterday, my kids kinda do their own thing which can get interesting and scary. So yesterday evening when I got up and was feeling a little better I found that Hailey had smeared lotion all over the front door, there were chunks of banana bread all over the kitchen floor (apparently that was dinner) I will give them kudos for not using a knife. The best was when I looked at them, and saw how scruffy, yet happy they looked, I had to laugh. Their outfits were classic, Hannah was mismatched and Hailey put all kinds of stuff together, Weston's shorts over a leotard, a coin purse hanging from her necklace, and a necklace for a headband along with another headband. It was funny!
